'Raindrop Counter' was composed and performed specifically for the Ceramophone, a unique ceramic instrument designed by Architect Simon Astridge and producer James Mason. The composition is gentle, meditative, and slow-evolving. It is inspired by the observation of emergent rhythms during a recent rain storm. The piece starts with a sonic deluge and gradually organises itself into a repeating, simple melody by the end. The track helps to calm and focus the mind, providing a respite from the busyness of everyday life and encouraging a more meditative and mindful state. A perfect track to fall asleep to..!
